Read before you register

This will be an intensive workshop requiring participants to move about quite a lot, to mostly draw standing up, to sketch under time constraints, and to be comfortable sketching outdoors in cooler, early-Spring weather.

Learning objectives

During this workshop, participants will explore fundamental elements of drawing people from observation, such as:

• Basic structure of a human figure

• Basics of human body language

• Practical exercises to develop people drawing skills

About The People Drawing Series

This series of educational events will cover the exciting topic of drawing people from direct observation, from the basics to groups, crowds, and people in motion.

The events will take place throughout 2023, starting with an introductory Talk in February, followed by three full-day workshops in the coming months. All events will be free of charge.
