Library Sketching Series

Experience the true spirit of your local library! 

This exhibition is the culmination of a wonderful five-month collaboration between Urban Sketchers Prague and the Municipal Library of Prague. Our members visited nine branches, sketching the quiet moments, the lively interactions, and the beautiful architecture that gives each location its distinct vibe.

A shared belief that "libraries are far more than just books: they are vital hubs of our communities" was the spark for nearly 50 sketchers from around the world who joined the project. Our warmest thanks go to Alžběta Pavlíčková for opening the library doors to us with such enthusiasm.
