Urban Sketching: Westfield Chodov

This is a very cold week, so it will be nice to have a backup plan just in case it gets too cold to sketch outside. 

Westfield Chodov and its surroundings offer various subjects to sketch – the building of the shopping mall itself, the interesting sunshades and the hustle and bustle of the bus stop which will become our starting meeting point, or even the nearby pedestrian bridge crossing the highway and offering us the opportunity to sketch the passing traffic. 

When it gets cold, we can take refuge in the shopping mall’s food court which features very interesting curved ceiling ribs and roof windows.

PLEASE NOTE that the final meeting point is different from the starting one!

Saturday, 1 October 

5:00 pm: Meeting at the bus stop Chodov (buses 126 and 115) - https://mapy.com/s/pepufepale

7:00 pm: Meeting in the Westfield Chodov food court (follow the signs "Grand Kitchen") on the 2nd floor, between McDonald’s and Bombay Express, showing our sketches, sharing our experiences and defrosting. :)

For New Members

Our events are open to everyone who enjoys drawing and urban sketching. There are no fees, just bring your own sketchbook and media you like. There is no formal tuition given but you can certainly get inspired by others. All levels are welcome!

If you have urban sketching questions or suggestions, please bring them up with the group admins.
