Urban Sketching: Chuchelský háj

Join us for a delightful outing to Chuchelský háj, a beautiful forest park nestled between Malá and Velká Chuchle in Prague. This peaceful natural area offers scenic walking trails, lush greenery, and a relaxing escape from the city.

Our visit will include a stop at the charming mini zoo, home to native forest animals such as deer, mouflons, foxes, and owls. It's a perfect spot for families and nature lovers, with educational trails and playgrounds for children.

We’ll also explore the Baroque Church of St. John of Nepomuk, perched on a hill with stunning views of the Vltava River and Prague.

11:00 : Meeting at "Malá Chuchle" bus stop.

You can get there by bus #129, #241 or #244 from Smíchovské nádraží (terminál BUS) - https://maps.app.goo.gl/3SwJn3Skfut42tEPA . 

We will walk together from the bus stop to the small forest ZOO. Count on walking up the hill 1,5 - 2 km.

For New Members

Our events are open to everyone who enjoys drawing and urban sketching. There are no fees, just bring your own sketchbook and media you like. There is no formal tuition given but you can certainly get inspired by others. All levels are welcome!
