Urban Sketching: Army Museum Žižkov

Hosted by Rui Fe

Sunday, October 8 from 2:00 PM CEST

Are you a history buff? The Army Museum Žižkov contains over 700 years of military history, with focus on Bohemian and Moravian significance in the international context. The building itself is impressive, built in late 1920's and recently renovated. As a bonus, there is a cafe at the top with a view.

Admission fee: is free.

IMPORTANT:

Please bear in mind that is a museum, therefore to protect the art, leave home the material that is susceptible of not being allowed in a museum such as watercolors, pastels and any loose material like water jars, easels, bottles of ink, etc.

Is good to keep it light, and use instead some pencil, pen(s) or markers, and the sketchbook.

Also note that is not allowed to take backpacks inside the museum therefore you can use the lockers at the entrance with a 5kc coin.

Schedule

2:00 pm: Meeting at the lobby of the museum. PS: the entrance is slightly hidden at the lower part of the building.
