Sketch Walk: Smíchov Fountains

Fountains are not only decorative elements in the cityscape—they also bring a sense of refreshment and calm, especially on hot summer days. In this Sketch Walk, we’ll explore some of the fountains in Smíchov, a vibrant district of Prague known for its blend of historic charm and modern energy.

Our trail will take us to three fountains, each offering a different atmosphere and architectural style. At the spots mature trees will provide welcome shade, creating a comfortable environment for sketching and observation. At each stop, we’ll spend 30 minutes sketching, capturing the interplay of water, stone, and urban life.

For New Members

Our events are open to everyone who enjoys drawing and urban sketching. There are no fees, just bring your own sketchbook and media you like. There is no formal tuition given but you can certainly get inspired by others. All levels are welcome!

If you have urban sketching questions or suggestions, please bring them up with the group admins.
