Night Sketching: Signal Festival

Let’s try something challenging this time: let’s attend the Signal Festival and try to capture the interplay of light and darkness in the installations.

Our first – and for the sake of weather the only “official” – stop will be at Náměstí Míru: there will be – as usual – a videomapping projection on the Basilica of St. Ludmila which is always breathtaking: https://www.signalfestival.com/en/installation/iterations-the-infinite-rhythm-of-the-city/

Schedule

7:00 pm: Meeting at the tram stop Náměstí míru, in the direction upwards (i.e. further from the church) - https://mapy.com/s/mezugosale

8:00 pm: Meeting at the same spot, showing our sketches, sharing our experiences and deciding whether we manage to go to some other locations or whether we need something hot to defrost.

? 8-9 pm: Group or individual sketching/watching other installations or performances – we’ll see according to the temperature.

For New Members

Our events are open to everyone who enjoys drawing and urban sketching. There are no fees, just bring your own sketchbook and media you like. There is no formal tuition given but you can certainly get inspired by others. All levels are welcome!
