Urban Sketching: Prague Passages II.

Come sketch with us on a sketch walk through the Prague passages — with rain in the forecast, the arcades will keep us dry while still giving us plenty of interesting views.

We’ll start with 30 minutes in the Koruna passage, known for its distinctive 1930s architecture and the crown‑shaped tower above it. Inside, the curved lines and shopfronts.

Then we’ll move on to 30 minutes in the Světozor passage, where the colourful vitrage above the entrance adds a bit of character. There’s always a bit of movement around the cinema and the food stalls.

We’ll finish with 30 minutes in the Lucerna passage, a classic Prague spot with its early‑20th‑century design, decorative details and that slightly nostalgic atmosphere.

For New Members

Our events are open to everyone who enjoys drawing and urban sketching. There are no fees, just bring your own sketchbook and media you like. There is no formal tuition given but you can certainly get inspired by others. All levels are welcome!

If you have urban sketching questions or suggestions, please bring them up with the group admins.
