Urban Sketching: Botanical Garden Na Slupi

Let's sketch in the Botanical Garden Na Slupi, one of the oldest botanical gardens in Prague and a pleasant place to draw in hot weather. It’s part of the Charles University Faculty of Science, so it has a mix of carefully maintained plant collections, greenhouses and small paths that feel a bit like stepping into a quiet pocket of nature right in the middle of the city. The garden is compact but full of variety, which makes it great for shorter studies as well as slower, more detailed sketches.

For New Members

Our events are open to everyone who enjoys drawing and urban sketching. There are no fees, just bring your own sketchbook and media you like. There is no formal tuition given but you can certainly get inspired by others. All levels are welcome!

If you have urban sketching questions or suggestions, please bring them up with the group admins.
